When you hear a Rolex watch referred to as “The Polar Explorer”, the reference 16570 with a white dial is what they are talking about.

The Explorer II was developed in the 1970s for cave explorers. Featuring a fixed 24-hour bezel and coordinating red arrow GMT hand on the dial to allow cavers to distinguish between day and night hours.

For most owners, the GMT complication is best served to track a second time zone.

This 2004 Explorer II is in great all round condition. The bracelet is tight, the case is sharp and crown on the bracelet well defined. 

Model features the no holes case and solid end links. 

It has received a full movement service and is running and winding like a new watch. Pressure test included.
